To avoid hipocracy I think that Multiplex can build as high as they want, make the design as bad or as daring as they want, as long as they don't destroy the last remaining part of the Regent. That famous foyer.
Did you paint the picture in your avatar Watchman, or are you breaching copyright?
That savetheregent's guy's site has numerous links to copyright infringing video material (on youtube funnily enough!) and audio and pictures on the site for which I hazard to guess no authorisation was received.
So what gives?
Anyway, as for the Regent, well guess we'll see what happens, given the present economic climate that is eventuating I wouldn't be surprised if it was put on hold for reasons other than the kerfuffle over the theatre. I'm much more concerned about Empire Square getting up.
