This development is flying along. Kmart Plaza has absolutley been torn apart. All of the old Tyre and Auto building and the other half of the Kmart store has been demolished in 1 week, all of the outsides of the building has been demolished, i guess that construction on rebuilding Kmart Plaza should be started well by the end of the month at this rate, the workers were even working on a Sunday....i mean come on, working on a Sunday in Rocky

Depending on how slack i am, i will try to go over next weekend and get photos.

Also City Centre Plaza has started rebranding as Mirvac, with Mirvac signs going up on the outside of the centre.


The old Kmart Tyre and Auto and Kmart Entrance....or where it used to be

Apprently our Stockland redevelopment is "well beyond Brisbane and Sydney standards" (and will be a shopping centre that either of those cities would be proud of) and will set a new benchmark in shopping for Central QLD.

The Stockland Rockhampton redevelopment is now tipped to be $95.9 million dollars, it just keeps getting higher and higher. First is was $45m, then $60m, then $86m, now it is like i said before, $95.9 million.

Also Stockies Gladstone is in the DA Approval Stage for a $90 million dollar redevelopment.
