I decided to check out North Shore, That place is amazing, the guy said from Finlay homes once completed the Stockland North shore will be bigger then Stockland Townsville, I laughed, typical salesman. Anyway the entry into North Shore is 6 lanes, I took a sneak peak at the masterplan, it includes an overpass to ease congestion on the motorway into North Shore. Construction on that overpass starts next year (August) Its pretty amazing how much the place has changed though (All along the Bruce Highway), once a tired run down area into Townsville. Developers saw the potential (Especially Sunland & Stockland) now the place is like Brisbane, by 2010 there will be at least 6 overpasses into different areas, some to cater for residential some to cater for the motorway. Its huge, the area is defiantly revived, buzzing with activity.

If I had the money, man I'd ditch the plans for Perth and buy at North Shore, the shopping centers awesome, the lagoon's great. Id recommend anyone who's looking to build, check out the Ap Williams DP home, its sweet, actually has a pool running under neath the place. Anyway enough ranting on here are some of the pics of the a new overpass that'll connect to the ringroad.

The Woodlands overpass is massive, pretty good colour choices, with the lime green etc. Told you the area was crazy, 3 crashes, know-one bloody understands the road, arrows point to every different direction. Defiantly a motorway feel, the drive from Cairns to Townsville would be special , Wont be long to they install electronic signage which'll help a hell of allot.

Very interesting... sounds a lot like Northlakes in Brisbane (that whole concept). Would be good though if it was more medium density. Cheers for those images Sean

Remember this is only a small lane that I took the picture, The render bellow explains how many overpasses will be built aswell as the connection through to the ring road. So ya can kinda of imagine the imposing density this will create.
