|  El Faro I posted this in a couple other places but really want to see what people think. I found this image in an article on the internet the other day and wanted to see what people thought! It is done by YAS Architecture out of Chicago, Illinois for the Faro Monarca Tower. The information that the article gives says: The Faro Monarca Tower stands 285 meters tall with 80 floors and an 850-car parking structure located 5 levels below-grade. The tower is a mixed-use building that includes offices, 200 hotel rooms, 400 condominium units and a convention center. Nearby the tower is a religious site with a chapel. The tower also includes direct access to the popular metro cable system. Located in the foothills of Sabaneta, a suburb of Medellin, this structure stands to be not only the tallest building in Sabaneta, but in Latin America as well. YAS Architecture has teamed with a local developer, a Colombian A/E team and has created a multi-disciplinary team specializing in tall structures to lead the design effort for this project. Compared to the previous designs, I think that this is a really great design and really looks like it belongs in Colombia. What do you all think? | It is nice, but it looks like it wasnt made by an architect. I mean, the render looks very bad, like it was made in 5 minutes.
