Panama has less population density than does the US, but it chooses to protect the environment and provide services more economically and efficiently by building tall and thick rather than sprawling all over the place. The greatest reason it's building up so fast is that it is attracting many retired foreigners who go to live there in a style beyond what they could in their home countries.

Panama City has a problem that more than a problem is something beautiful, The City has the jungle that is protected by the goverment to the north, the Pacific Ocean on the south, The Panama Canal on the west and some mountains on the east, the whole environment surrounding the city is beautiful, the city can not expand anymore, so the only way is to the top, for these reasons and much much more, a lot of people are moving to Panama to have a better life with less money.
