|  Palaces in the City of the Palaces... Mexico City was traditionally known as la Ciudad de los Palacios ("the City of Palaces"), a nickname attributed to Baron Alexander von Humboldt when visiting the city in the 19th Century. Today, the legacy of many of those palaces have been lost in the time in order to introduce the recent constructions with less splendor than the old palaces... but part of that wonders has survived to be appreciated TODAY. Here, just for you, the great palaces in Mexico City... ENJOY IT!!!! The national palace!   Palacio de Iturbide  The Post office  Inside the post office palace... [IMG]  [/IMG]The palace of the tiles...   Nice!  Mining palace  Bank of Mexico...  National museum of art!  Inside the MUNAL (national museum of art)  fine arts palace!  City Hall... | 10/10 They are palaces!.. It's impossible to say they are ugly!.
