Metro de Monterrey  25 April 1991 - Line 1 Exposición - San Bernabé 30 Nov 1994 - Line 2 General Anaya - General Zaragoza 11 June 2003 - Line 1 San Bernabé - Talleres Construction of a northern extension for Line 2 began in August 2005. Total length of the extension is 8.5 km with 1.5 km in tunnel and the rest elevated. There will be 7 new stations ready for operation in 2007.
