| Istanbul - 3 big clusters in Maslak, Levent-Gayrettepe and Sisli-Mecidiyeköy - 1 or 2 visible skylines on the anatolian side - completely renovated Istiklal caddesi, parlty (60%) renovated Beyolgu including Talimhane and the rest - still traffic problems but compared to these day we'll be living in heaven - Galatasaray will be still searching for a plot in orer to build a stadium - a third, gigantic airport will be compleder since Turkish Airlines joined the star alliance and Istanbul will becoma a hub. - A big part of gecekondus wil be replaced by TOKI apartments Ankara: - All metro construction will be finished, even the current suburban rail line will be improved - Since no money will be invested in transportation the municipility will improve Ankara's pavements - Ankara will be full of Keciören-like houses and will be the sister city of Riyadh. - Esenboga yolu will improve and will be a new Eryaman/Batikent -Cayyolu will be the heart of the city -the renovation of Ulus will be completed and gecekondus around the Ankara kale will be demolished. Izmir: - a more important tourist destination since Cesme will grow in the next years - completed metro system and maybe we'll see a suburan line between Izmir and Cesme - Kemeralti will be renovated completly - A city which will prefer of the next EXPO. Turkey: -Major cities connected by highspeed trains -all major cities have a railway system -western Turkey will be connected by Otobans and eastern Turkey with express ways (duble yollar) expect the GAP region which will be connected via Konya-Ankara to Istanbul and to the EU. - Export: 150 billion$ - Import: 200 billion$ or even more - nominal GDP per capita ca 8000€ Btw I listed al projects which are already under constrction or approved so this means all points I've mentioned here will be realized and maybe we'll see more projects until 2012!

| yes I'm talking about nomimal values and not ppp. It's not optimistic I took the average growth rates of the last years. Right now it's 5400$, increasing the GDP by 2600$ in 6 years ins't that difficult. That would mean 400$ in a year, mothing special actually.
