|  The Shard    Now what do you think of this? It says it has been approved but it has started yet. Estimated completion date is 2011 so a few years yet. I think it looks fabulous, I haven't seen a sky scraper like this before. I hope they do it as England needs something unusual. | |||||||||||

| It was meant to be originally 83 stories but has been reduced to 66 stories, to help reduce evacuation times due to other incidents. The tower is meant to be environmentally friendly and at 306m (1,004ft) it will be Europe’s tallest habitable building with an estimated end value of £1 billion. Also the outside is made completely of glass. I think it's well cool! | |||||||||||
