|  The Cube|Birmingham|Under construction The Cube is under construction in Birmingham behind the Mailbox, now it is not a very high building. However the design is world class, well it would be as the Architects are MAKE, the people who have designed some of the most famous structures in the world Swiss Re being one of them. So what is The Cube you ask well, The Cube will contain 244 apartments (1 to 2 bedrooms), 12,420m² of office space, 2,233m² hotel and 10,269m² of retail/food and drink space. So it has a bit of everything, so with out further or do I introduce you all to the amazing structure of The Cube.   Developer: Birmingham Development Company And Salvage Wharf Ltd Architects: MAKE Architects Status: Under construction.

| Yeah well thats the point, Birmingham has not got many strange buildings. Now when this is complete some people have said that it will be as iconic as swiss re in London. Well I certainly think it has pottential. Anyway they are still digging, its 20ft deep now and constructon should start soon, woo hoo.

| Bad News Bad News The canal next to the site has collapsed into the site filling the 20ft hole with water, I am not sure if anyone has died because there has not been much information about it at the moment however when i get info I will post here.
