Jaybuoy

A £5.5 billion development of the former Central Docks to include 50 storey plus office and apartment towers, a monorail to Liverpool John Lennon Airport and a cruise liner terminal. The brainchild of Peel Holdings, owners of the Mersey Docks and John Lennon Airport, it is to be developed over a period of 50 years with the obtaining of planning consent expected to take five years. It will complement the equally ambitious Wirral Waters scheme announced earlier for the East Float in Wallasey (see below).
